I'm trying to start my first school art project of the year and its proving to be lots of trouble. We have to make a sculpture in the style of a mask for the play "Oedipus". an ancient Greek tragedy, it very a very cool play. I'm making one using a skull and feathers. I wanted cockerel feathers but NOWHERE has any, South Africa is one of the biggest exporters of ostrich feathers so if you ask for any feathers they give you ostrich and say "Look! ostrich! oh you want anything else? no we don't have that. why would you want that when you can have ostrich?!"
and when I finnally get these things I have no idea how in hell I'm going to attach them to a skull
So I'm freaking out a teeny bit. pretty much all the art students are. It's really funny how the drama students learn how to swear properly and do fun stuff while we sit and sweat bricks while redrawing what this mask is gonna look like for the 10th time.
with all my whining I should be doing drama hahaha
