well apparently I'm quite a lot like Leonardo da Vinci
In the sense that I procrastinate like its my superpower
I was going to upload everything, I had it all set up and waiting... but then I didn't feel like coming up with a title and closed the tab
so yea, lazy
on the bright size I finished my Oedipus mask, it looks very cool and a little macabre, I do have about 50 feathers left over and more wire than I could ever use, maybe I'll do a little dragon/bird creature out of clay with them.
with those finished our next project is a life sized self portrait done in acrylic, I'm not making much progress because I keep fiddling over minor details instead of doing major work, but it's getting there. I also get a week extension because I'm the tallest in the class by a pretty big amount (shortest is 5"4 tallest person besides me is 5"7 and I'm 5"11 so yea, I have a LOT more to paint). we're all really enjoying the project so far.
not really related but pretty funny, we where doing ancient Greek and Roman architecture and all the stuff I knew was from Assassins Creed, like the aqueducts transported water around Rome and had arches to keep the water level (I climbed and ran along), the Pantheon is flat on the outside but dome shaped on the inside (walked around inside it) and the Colosseum had chambers underneath (again, went there). I also learnt Newtons laws of motion from a sergeant drilling his soldiers about their guns in mass effect 2 . so games do teach you stuff really
